Vice President Faisal Naseem met with the GA. Villingili council on Friday night.

The Vice President is currently on an official trip to Huvadhoo atoll.

During the meeting, the council members disclosed the plans to develop the island and the setbacks they face.

The council members highlighted the poor state of their harbor and the need for an airport.

They also requested a solution to the power issues in the island and the lack of a sewerage system in the newly populated area.

Vice President Faisal said that he would discuss their concerns with the relevant authorities and come up with solutions.
