The government has announced that its hiring specialist doctors to staff health centres and hospitals in atolls across the Maldives.
The Ministry of Health is to hire 164 specialist doctors, who are to be paid a monthly salary of MVR 30,990 with an allowance of MVR 10,200.
Doctors eligible for hire can apply at the Ministry of Health headquarters in capital city Malé, and the deadline is set at February 14th.
The ministry earlier said that health facilities in the islands urgently need more ENT doctors, paediatricians, gynaecologists, and surgeons.
