The body of a tourist has been found dead in Paradise Island Resort.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) report that the body was of an 84-year-old tourist from Czech Republic in Central Europe, and that the body was found at sea at around 15:15 on Saturday.
The body was taken to ADK Hospital on Saturday night.
This discovery comes at a time a Filipino couple drowned in Dhiffushi island of Kaafu atoll while on their honeymoon.
This is the second death of a tourist at Paradise Island this year, the first one having been found in the water on the 16th of January.
