Apartments in Lucky Hiya Condominium have been put up for sale.

Male’ City Mayor Shamau Shareef inaugurated the event on Sunday, launching the 15-story condominium in the heart of Hulhumale Phase II that contains 281 apartments.

At the ceremony held at Marble Hotel, Shamau stated that every government thus far has tried to solve the mounting issue that is lack of housing for the citizens.

Stating that the capital city currently has 8,000 households, Mayor Shamau stressed that there are many residents living in these households in cramped conditions and that this is not the way the people must be forced to live.

Highlighting that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s government prioritizes housing for the people, Shamau revealed that the government will begin providing living spaces and loans needed for shelter in the near future.

Lucky Hiya Condominium is located in Hulhumale Phase II and is being constructed by one of the leading construction companies nationwide that has excelled in the construction industry, Lucky Hiya Maldives Private Limited. The condominium offers 22 types of flats ranging from one bedroom to three-bedroom apartments and one penthouse.

These luxury and semi-luxury apartments come with price tags ranging between one to five million and may be customized in any desired way.

Those who wish to purchase flats at the condominium may make their bookings at Marble Hotel on Sunday and Monday. A booking fee of MVR 50,000 is required.
