President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be returning from Sri Lanka on Sunday night.

The President departed on his unofficial trip on Thursday.

This is his first trip to Sri Lanka since assuming office. However, he did travel to the neighboring country as the President-elect.

President Solih’s first state visit was to India on December 16, where he met with senior Indian government officials and signed landmark deals.
