President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met deputy speaker and Hulhu Henveiru MP Moosa Manik.
The deputy speaker shared a photo of the two of them on Twitter.
The meeting took place at the president’s official residence, Muliaage, on Wednesday.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, Moosa said that it was a meeting between friends and was not official.
Moosa played an active role in campaigning for former President Abdulla Yameen in the elections. But after Solih’s win, Moosa has been showing his support for the new president at various platforms.
Moosa will be contesting for the Laamu Gan seat in the parliament election as an independent.
