State Minister Khaleel meets Senior VP of JICA

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel has met with the Senior Vice President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
State Minister Khaleel met Vice President Dr. Junichi Yamada in Tokyo on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the State Minister thanked JICA for the various development projects in Maldives that has improved the wellbeing of Maldivians over the past few decades. He noted that JICA’s programs have enriched the connection between the two countries and brought much needed development to the country.
They also discussed the recent high-level state visits between the countries and discussed avenues for future collaboration.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied at the meeting by Ambassador of Maldives to Japan Ibrahim Uvais, First Secretary at the Embassy of Maldives in Japan Adam Hamid, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zeena Mohamed Didi, and Second Secretary at the Maldives Embassy in Japan Mohamed Thahseen.
