Victory SC has appointed Dr. Ibrahim Nasheed as chairman as well as Mauroof Ahmed (Mattey) and Mohamed Hameed (Umarube) as vice chairmen.

Dr. Nasheed is the brother of former President Mohamed Nasheed and son of Abdul Sattar of Canaryge, who had played a large role in managing Victory.

Hameed, who is now the sports and technical vice chairman, has considerable experience in the field.

Mauroof, the finance and marketing vice chairman, had played the role of Victory’s goalkeeper and coach and has technical, managerial, and marketing experience.

At the meeting on Monday, Victory also appointed its former forward player Ibrahim Mohamed, former goalkeeper Ismail Zariyandhu, and goalkeeper trainer Ahmed Riyaz as board directors.

Members appointed to the board include prominent businessman Abdul Majid, popular TV presenter Mariyam Waheeda, Hisaan Naseem, Shehnaz Wafir, and Fathimath Rizma Waleed.
