President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed two new Ministers of State.

The ceremony to present the letters of appointments was held on Sunday, at the President’s Office.

President Solih appointed Khadheeja Adam as Minister of State for Higher Education and Mohamed Shaafi’ee as Minister of State for Communication, Science and Technology.

With these appointments, the total of state ministers appointed by the president reaches 46.

President Solih's has made a total of 40 appointments to the posts of Deputy Ministers.
