Vice President Faisal Naseem returned to the capital city on Friday evening after touring Haa Dhaalu atoll.

During his trip, the Vice President visited Kulhudhuffushi, Nolhivaram, and Hanimaadhoo.

Faisal met with the island residents and employees and observed the workings of local institutions.

He also met with the family of five-year-old Shifan Bin Mohamed from Nolhivaranfaru, who recently passed away after drowning at sea during a family trip. He conveyed his and President Ibrahim Mohamed solih’s condolences for the loss.

During the trip, Faisal was accompanied by health minister Abdulla Ameen and gender minister Shidhatha Shareef.
