The Transport Ministry will be arranging a means for female students to ask for a female examiner during driving tests, Minister Aishath Nahula has said. 

Minister Nahula announced this through a post on Twitter, responding to a user that said such an arrangement would be beneficial and is much demanded currently.

"We have officially arranged for this, with Allah's will, it will soon be implemented", Nahula said in her tweet.

While driving students can only apply for a test through a licensed driving school, a test is carried out by an examiner from the transport ministry.
