NDMC workers assess damages
210 households in Male’ were reportedly affected by the recent floods, reveals National Disaster Management Center (NDMC).
The households were reportedly affected after hours-long heavy rain caused floods in various parts of Male’ on Wednesday.
In a tweet on Friday night, NDMC said they have been able to complete detailed damage assessments in 130 households and hope to complete the remaining 79 on Saturday.
NDMC had provided temporary shelter to 20 people during the flood and had taken two families into their care. One family has returned home.
