Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has undergone a laser treatment to evaporate stones in his kidneys.
RaajjeMV understands that the operation was a success and he is in stable condition.
His family is yet to reveal anything on his condition officially, as they are yet to meet with his doctor.
Following the operation, Adeeb was transferred to the private and excutive board.
Earlier on Monday, his wife Mariyam Nashwa revealed that Adeeb had to undergo laser treatment, tweeting a video showing Adeeb on a gurney at the hospital.

Last week, Nashwa publicized an x-ray scan of his abdomen, clearly showing a stone in his kidney.
Nashwa said that the stone has caused significant swelling and severe pain. Adeeb is currently being treated at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
Adeeb is serving a 33-year prison sentence on multiple counts of corruption and terrorism for his involvement in the attempted assassination of President Abdulla Yameen and the MMPRC embezzlement scandal.
Adeeb developed various health issues after his imprisonment, including kidney stones, internal cysts, and glaucoma and is currently admitted at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital after a sudden health deterioration on Friday night.
