Former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel has accused President Abdulla Yameen of attempting to flee the country.
Dr. Jameel, the first vice president of President Yameen, advised him to have the courage to refrain from leaving and face an independent investigation.
In the tweet on Wednesday, Dr. Jameel accused him of being behind the biggest corruption scandals in the country that saw the state’s bankruptcy while interfering in the independence of the parliament and courts. He also said that many people were harmed because of him.
