President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s transition committee has begun visiting Maldives embassies.

This has been confirmed by Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

MDP stated that the transition committee visited the Maldives embassy in Sri Lanka on Monday, but did not disclose further details.

The committee has visited all the government branches and met with its employees.

The transition committee is tasked with ensuring a smooth transfer of power for president-elect Solih’s administration.
