Mohamed Lam’aan has been appointed to the post of Managing Director at state utilities company, FENAKA Corporation.
Before his appointment to the post of Managing Director, Lam’aan served as the company’s acting Managing Director.
The appointment was made following Ahmed Shareef, now Elections Commissioner, having resigned from his post.
Shareef was appointment to the position in March after Ahmed Sulaiman resigned from the post of Elections Commissioner in late January.
Mohamed Nizar, President of the Privatization and Corporatization Board of the Maldives announced Lam’aan’s appointment to the post on Monday.
