'Jazeera games' kicks off in Malaysia on Sunday

Joint Opposition coalition’s campaign team in Malaysia, “Jazeera Raajje Malaysia” has begun a series of sports titled “Jazeera Games” in order to garner support for the coalition’s Presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his running mate, Faisal Naseem.

On Sunday, the games had kicked off with futsal and Bashi, local traditional sport played by women, tournaments in Sunway Extreme Park, Malaysia, in which Maldivian students residing in Malaysia partook in.

While the games kicked off with a futsal match on Sunday morning, the games comprised of 12 male teams and three female teams. A total of four female teams will be partaking in the games.

The campaign team in Malaysia is conducting several such entertaining activities to garner support for the opposition candidate and running mate. As such, the team had held a tournament of PlayStation games, with the winners having received exciting prices.

Vice-presidential candidate Naseem and team had flown to Malaysia on Friday and met and greeted Maldivian residents and students living in Malaysia to check on their living conditions and inquire on the basic needs they are lacking.
