At least four individuals were injured in an accident on Monday night, as a van traveling in high speed overturned in the capital’s reclaimed suburb, Hulhumalé.
An eyewitness told RaajjeMV that the van, which belonged to South Catering, was traveling with four passengers overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the high speed.
Those inside the van were helped out by civilians at the scene.
They were taken to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment immediately; its media official Ashiya Solih confirmed that four individuals were taken there for treatment following an accident.
RaajjeMV understands that none of them had sustained any serious injuries.
Three individuals have been killed in road accidents in Hulhumalé this year.
