Jumhooree Party leader Qasim Ibrahim’s youngest wife and the party’s council member Aishath Nahula has on Monday evening conducted a door-to-door campaign event in the capital city Male’ to garner support for the opposition coalition’s Presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
RaajjeMV understands that Nahula had covered some households in Mahchangoalhi ward of Male’along with some senior figures in the opposition coalition. They visited citizens, checked on their living conditions and inquired on the basic necessities they are lacking.
Nahula and team had conducted the door-to-door campaign event from 04:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m.
According to JP, while it’s council member commenced the door-to-door campaign activity on Monday, she is scheduled to carry out more of such activities in the next few days. As such, JP revealed that Nahula is scheduled to cover more districts of the capital city and check on citizens.
It is notable that Nahula, whose husband is currently in Germany in self-exile after fleeing his prison conviction, is partaking in the opposition coaltiion’s campaign activities held across the nation along with Presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, as well as partaking in campaign gatherings in the capital city as well as outlying atolls.
