Solih begins trip to Huvadhoo atoll

Joint Opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has begun a trip to 18 islands in Huvadhoo atoll.

He arrived at Gaaf Dhaalu Kaadedhdhoo airport on Friday morning and was met at the airport by the Gaaf Dhaalu atoll council.

Members of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) and other opposition coalition welcomed him upon his arrival.

While Solih held a campaign event in Vaadhoo, his next visit was in Faresmaathodaa and then Fiyoaree and Thinadhoo later that night, where the opposition is set to hold a large campaign event.

From Saturday to Monday, Solih is set to visit Dhevvadhoo, Kolamaafushi, Kandulhudhoo, Gemanafushi, Gadhdhoo, Kondey, Dhaandhoo, Nilandhoo, Maamendhoo, Villingili, Rathafandhoo, Nadella, Madaveli, and Hoadedhdhoo.

Solih is scheduled to return to the capital city on Monday.
