Housing Ministry starts releasing applications for ‘Hiyaa Accomplished’ housing project

The Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has on Tuesday begun releasing application forms for their ‘Hiyaa Accomplished’ project, which offers flats developed in reclaimed space on Kaafu atoll.

The ministry will be issuing 1,000 square feet flats developed on Fushi Dhiggaru island and the ‘Villimalé Phase 2’, which is reclaimed space on Gulhifalhu island.

Applications will be open from 7th August to 31 January next year. Only individuals who do not have at least 1,000 square feet of land or shelter.

Forms are available online and will be so frin the Hiyaa Expo office at the ministry headquarters in Malé after 15th August.

The project is named after the government’s ‘Hiyaa’ housing project, which began earlier his year. The ministry aims to build 82,000 housing units for the ‘Hiyaa Accomplished’ project.
