Running mate Faisal Naseem has said that a government of the opposition coalition will not interfere with the workings of the courthouse.
At the ceremony to mark Jumhooree Party (JP)’s 10-year anniversary on Friday night, Faisal said that the coalition parties will heed the citizens’ call for the establishment of justice.
Faisal said that the coalition government will allow independent institutions to work freely and will not be biased towards one over the other.
He also said that they will not take precedence over particular islands when conducting development work.
Faisal added that while the government has been warning about possible vote rigging, all the citizens want one outcome and that there is nothing anyone can do to change that.
