His constituents in Kaashidhoo island gave him the opportunity to be named running-mate for the Joint Opposition, says MP Faisal Naseem.
The lawmaker expressed his gratitude directly to citizens of Kaashidhoo island during his trip to the island on Friday.
Speaking to his constituents, MP Faisal said that he will continue his service to them and the people of the Maldives.
In his speech, the Joint Opposition running-mate, who is on the same ticket as the Maldivian Democratic Party’s long-standing lawmaker MP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, noted that Kaashidhoo’s health facilities need development.
Elected on a Jumhooree Party ticket, Faisal is native to the southern atoll of Fuvahmulah.
