The joint opposition coalition’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his running mate Faisal Naseem have visited jailed former Chief of Justice Abdulla Saeed’s father, Mohamed Saeed in Addu City’s Hulhudhoo island.

RaajjeMV’s reporter Murshid Abdul Hakeem said that Solih had assured Saeed that the conviction of his son will be brought before justice, having condemned its baselessness.
It has been reported that Saeed was overjoyed when Solih and Naseem had visited him at his residence, having backed Solih’s nomination as the joint opposition presidential candidate, his family said that the long standing parliamentarian is worthy to rule the country and they wish to see him get elected as their ruler.
Having highlighted that Naseem, nominated by Jumhooree Party as Solih’s running mate, is related to the family, Saeed wished both success in the upcoming ballots.
