The State Trading Organization (STO) has announced a shelter program under the government’s ‘Hiyaa’ housing project, that exclusively caters to civil service employees.
STO said this week that the foundation for two towers to be built in the second phase of Hulhumalé, the capital’s fast-growing urban extension, was done in February this year. Applications were opened on Monday.
STO has set out 304 flats for their employees, 68 of which are one-room apartments, 36 are two-room apartments, and 144 are three-room apartments.
Prices for these range from MVR 971,460 for one-room apartments and MVR 1,375,200 for two-room apartments, and 1,795,200 for three-room apartments. These are on market with four long-term payment options.
