The Supreme Court has authorized the suspension on Kendhoo constituency MP Ali Hussain’s admittance to practice law to be lifted.
A letter from the Department of Judicial Administration, dated Monday, said that scrutiny into a case involving the parliamentarian has been concluded.
Hussain was suspended on the 13th of March for speaking publically about his opinions on decisions of the Supreme Court.
The Judicial Service Commission had then announced that it had conducted an investigation into the matter, over the lawmaker’s comments constituting a form of contempt.
