MVR 146 million has been received in pensions in the past four months.
According to the pension office, the most amount was received in April, which was MVR 37 million.
Compared to the MVR 143 million received in the first four months last year, there has been an increase of MVR 3 million.
49.8% of the pensions are from women and 50.2% are from men.
More than 100,000 people give pensions and the pension office has predicted that the pension fund will increase by 30 percent in the next five years.
