The Bank of Maldives (BML) has priced their dividends for last year at MVR 20 per share.
The bank said that the board had made the decision based on its income for the year, a total of 108 million.
BML had distributed dividends for 2015 at MVR 17, a difference of eighteen percent.
The bank reported that its profit had increased by 61 percent and that it had accumulated a total earning of 1.02 billion.
