STO hikes fuel prices

STO stated that the hike is due to the increase of diesel prices in the international market

State Trading Organization (STO)

Government-affiliated State Trading Organization (STO) has hiked its fuel prices.

In a notice, STO stated that the hike is due to the increase of diesel prices in the international market.

From now on the price of a liter of diesel and petrol will be MVR .31 higher. A liter of diesel will be MVR 10.72 and a liter of petrol will be MVR 10.42.

STO had also increased diesel prices by MVR .20 per liter in April.
