Maldives Travel Awards: Guesthouse Edition 2018 open for nominations

Applications have been opened for Maldives Travel Awards nominations under their Guest House Awards categories and submissions will be accepted till the 19th of May 2018.

Maldives Travel Awards is the most prestigious recognition in the travel industry of the country and is an initiative by the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO).

MATATO Secretary General Asra Naseem said that applications will be accepted through the Maldives Travel Awards official website https://www.travelawards.mv/ only and all eligible bodies have been opened the opportunity to register.

Applications have been opened in 15 different categories in the Guest House edition, three out of which will be awarded by MATATO, the founder of the travel awards.

Guest Houses registered and operating for more than a year are eligible for nominations in this year's awarding ceremony.

MATATO highlighted that they have received several applications so far.

This year's travel awards will be categorized into two editions with gala night and people's edition to follow later this year.

Maldives Travel Awards's Guesthouse Edition was first introduced in 2017.
