People have been injured in a speed boat collision in Kaaf atoll.

According to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) the accident took place when two speed boats collided into each other in westward of Kaaf atoll.

MNDF also confirmed that the two speed boats belong to Ithaafushi resort in Kaaf atoll and a Maldivian has been reported missing in the accident.

RaajjeMV had received information that three individuals have received various injuries in the collision and two individuals have been brought to capital city Male' for treatment.
