Hussain Adam, a councilor of Gaaf Alif Atoll Council, has taken up fishing after being suspended.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, Adam, who was appointed to the atoll council from the Dhaandhoo constituency, said that the suspension of the GA Atoll Council did not make sense.

He said that he had begun fishing on Saturday, after the council was suspended for three months without pay on December 13.

He added that he will keep earning a living through fishing until the end of his suspension.
