Legal expert and former Member of Parliament for the Kendhoo constituency, Ali Hussain, has stated that the soil of the Maldives was defended through the sacrifices and blood of national heroes, asserting that not even a grain of sand from this land shall be yielded to Zionists or those of other faiths.
Speaking at an emergency rally titled "Dhivehinge Bin Dhivehinnah," Ali Hussain stated that the Maldivian soil has been preserved through the sacrifices of numerous heroes, including Ali Rasgefaan, Kalaafaanu, Ali Khateeb Thakurufaanu, and Martyr Hussain Adam, who shed their blood for this nation. He further asserted that the blood of legendary figures such as Boduthakurufaanu and Dhon Bandaarain flows through the veins of Maldivians today, declaring that the citizens of the country are not asleep.
We are the proud descendants of Bodu Thakurufaanu and Dhon Bandaarain, carrying their legacy in our veins. It is pure Maldivian blood that flows through us. As long as that blood continues to course through our veins, we will not surrender even a single grain of sand from this land to Zionists or any foreign adversaries.Ali Hussain
Referring to the Ras Male' project, Ali Hussain stated that it is unacceptable to grant land to foreign entities while 58,000 local families remain in desperate need of housing and are still awaiting land plots and housing units in Malé.
He stated that although President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu assumed office pledging to defend Islam, facilitating the settlement of non-Muslims and Zionists in this hundred-percent Muslim nation would be the greatest betrayal of the Islamic faith.
Ali Hussain urged President Muizzu not to become a leader who engages in such practices. He further appealed to the President's supporters to ensure that such actions are not carried out in their name and to refrain from betraying the nation.
