Mahloof: Eagle Hills Project Credit Belongs to Muizzu Administration

He further noted that political rivals are intimidated by the initiative, as the successful completion of such a landmark project would serve as a major achievement for President Muizzu’s administration.

The Maldivian Ambassador to Japan, Ahmed Mahloof, has stated that the current administration and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu will receive full credit for the success and benefits of the Ras Male' project, following the allocation of 500 hectares of reclaimed land to Abu Dhabi’s Eagle Hills company.
Speaking to state media regarding the ongoing project with Eagle Hills, Mahloof stated that this is an initiative that must proceed with every possible support provided to the Maldivian people.
Mahloof stated that the company involved this time possesses the necessary capability to execute the project, adding that political figures are well aware of the firm's competence in delivering such initiatives.
Mahloof stated that politicians are well aware that the current administration and the President stand to gain all the credit and benefits from this project. He further noted that this is precisely why politicians are so apprehensive about its progress.
The government continues to promote the Ras Male' project as a landmark initiative that will drive significant economic growth for the Maldives. However, serious allegations have surfaced suggesting that President Muizzu is utilizing the project as a vehicle to secure funding for the upcoming presidential election.
