86 percent of land plots allocated from Hulhumale' Phase 3 under "Binveriya" scheme handed over to their owners: Ministry

The Ministry further stated that it will continue to notify recipients to take possession of their land once the plots are cleared and their boundaries are established.

The Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has announced that 86 percent of the land plots allocated from Hulhumale' Phase 3 under the "Binveriya" scheme have now been officially handed over to their recipients.
In a post on X on Thursday, the Ministry of Housing announced that once recipients of land plots in Hulhumale' Phase 3 receive their land registries, the Ministry will notify them to take over the plots after the areas have been cleared and the boundaries demarcated.
Under the "Binveriya" housing scheme, 698 land plots have been designated for allocation from Hulhumale' Phase 3. According to statistics from the Ministry of Housing, 641 of these plots have had their registries issued to date, while 603 plots have been officially handed over to their recipients.
The 'Binveriya' scheme is a major initiative launched by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration to address the housing crisis in the Greater Male' Region by granting free state-owned land plots to Male' residents from Hulhumale', Gulhifalhu, and Giraavarufalhu.
