Four expatriates have sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at IGMH following a fire caused by a gas cylinder explosion at M.A. Dhoogas in Malé City.
Authorities received the report of the incident at approximately 5:27 a.m. on Monday.
According to police reports, two Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian nationals were hospitalized with injuries sustained in the incident.
Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has informed the police that two of the four individuals currently receiving treatment are in critical condition.
