The Foreign Advisor of Bangladesh, Dr. Khalilur Rahman, has met with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The meeting took place on Saturday afternoon at the President's Office.
According to the President's Office, during today's meeting, President Muizzu welcomed and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman for attending the official festivities marking the Maldives' 61st Independence Day as a special guest of the Maldivian government.
According to the President's Office, the two leaders discussed avenues to further strengthen bilateral ties. Their discussions focused particularly on multilateral cooperation, educational opportunities, and the enhancement of people-to-people connections.
According to a statement issued by the President's Office, the meeting concluded with both leaders highlighting the long-standing friendship between the two nations and expressing their commitment to exploring further avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Bangladesh's Foreign Minister, Dr. Khalilur Rahman, arrived in the Maldives on Saturday.
