Solih: Services currently provided to Male' residents despite lack of majority and significant challenges; aim is to win elections and facilitate seamless progress

Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that providing services to the residents of Male' City is currently a significant challenge due to the lack of a council majority. He expressed hope that securing a majority in the upcoming council elections would enable the delivery of services to citizens with greater ease.

Speaking during the MDP's "door-to-door" campaign activity on Friday night, President Solih stated that the party is contesting the Male' City Council elections with a full understanding of the challenges and concerns facing the city. He further emphasized that the party has formulated and organized strategic plans to effectively address and resolve these issues.

President Solih stated that despite the challenges of not holding a majority, significant progress has been made for the residents of Male' within the limited time available over the past two years.

What we need now is a capable team to work alongside Adam, and that is exactly what we are striving for. I am confident that if these individuals are elected, they will work tirelessly to resolve the pressing issues facing Male'. From the chronic parking shortage to structural problems like water leakage between buildings, there are numerous difficulties residents face. This team is committed to working diligently to provide meaningful solutions to these challenges.
