Mayor Athif launches "Ask Mayor" program
This program is a key initiative by the Kulhudhuffushi City Council to enhance institutional transparency and foster a more community-centric approach to public service delivery.

Kulhudhuffushi City has launched a new program titled "Ask Mayor" to provide residents with a direct platform to engage with Mayor Mohamed Athif and seek clarifications on matters related to the city's administration.
The objective of this program is to provide citizens with the opportunity to receive direct answers from Mayor Athif regarding the administration and decision-making processes of Kulhudhuffushi City. Furthermore, it aims to provide accurate information on matters of public interest, enhance administrative transparency, and foster greater community engagement in the council’s operations.
The responses to questions submitted by the public during this community outreach program will be published on Kulhudhuffushi City Council’s social media platforms.
Under this program, the opportunity to submit questions online will open every Sunday via an online form. Any citizen may submit their inquiries until 9:00 a.m. on the following Tuesday.

Mayor Mohamed Athif is recognized as a leader who prioritizes the needs of the people and remains steadfast in advocating for their rights. In addition to the "Ask Mayor" program, the Mayor and City Council members dedicate one hour of official working time each week to a program titled "Listening to the People," specifically designed to engage directly with residents and address their concerns and inquiries.
