MDP President travels to Haa Alif Atoll for local council election campaign

Abdulla Shahid, the President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), has arrived in Haa Alif Atoll to campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
Shahid commenced his visit on Friday morning, with Maarandhoo being his first stop. During his time on the island, he met with MDP candidates.
Following the official launch of their campaign for the upcoming local council and Women's Development Committee elections on the night of May 12, the MDP has commenced a series of visits to various islands across the atolls.
During this visit, MDP President Abdulla Shahid is scheduled to participate in door-to-door campaign activities across the islands included in the itinerary.
Furthermore, he will meet with the candidates to engage in high-level discussions.
