The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has initiated a search operation following a report of a missing person in the congested capital, Malé City.

The individual being sought is Saamee Abdul Hameed, 34, from Fuvahmulah City.

The police institution revealed that Saamee’s family reported him missing on July 2, at approximately 06:16pm, stating that he had not been heard from since June 25. Upon receiving the report, MPS immediately shared the information with all relevant departments and launched the search operation. However, as of now, the search efforts have not yielded any results.
