133 new officers have taken their oath of service to the Maldives Police Service (MPS).
The swearing-in ceremony was held on Tuesday at the Iskandar Building, where Civil Court Judge Abdul Nasir Shafeeq administered the oath to the new officers.
Tuesday’s ceremony was attended by Chief Inspector of Police Hussain Shareef, Head of Workforce Planning and Management, and Chief Inspector of Police Ilyas Mohamed, Head of Recruitment and Deployment Unit.
The 133 new police officers who took the oath at Tuesday’s ceremony include 34 female officers and 99 male officers. After taking the oath, the officers signed their oath declaration.
