The National Single Window Project, a government initiative, aims to provide important services through a single platform for importing and exporting goods to the Maldives

Maldives Customs Service has urged shipping agents and freight forwarding service providers to pay attention to registering on the National Single Window Platform.

As the government is working to inaugurate the National Single Window Project in August, which is designed to provide important services through a single platform for those importing and exporting goods to the Maldives with ease, Customs appealed to shipping agents and freight forwarding service providers to register on the National Single Window "Tradenet" platform by Saturday.

Customs stated that shipping agent and freight forwarder registration, foreign-going vessel registration, submission of vessel arrival information (ETA/ETD), and sea cargo manifest submission will be done through the National Single Window "Tradenet" platform.

The National Single Window Project is a very important initiative carried out under the vision of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to facilitate easier methods for Maldivian businesses.

This platform will allow for easy submission of documents required for business and enable work to be carried out in a transparent manner. The government previously revealed that this will also become a platform that connects parties involved in business transactions.
