Defence Ministry cancels tender for two jet skis

The Ministry of Defence has cancelled the tender for acquiring two jet skis for the ministry's use.
The ministry on Tuesday announced plans to procure two jet skis.
In an announcement published in the gazette, the Ministry of Defence stated that it is looking for a party to supply two jet skis to the ministry. The ministry's announcement specified that the items to be supplied must be brand new and genuine.
However, the tender was cancelled on Wednesday.
The ministry also published several other tenders on Tuesday to acquire multiple items in large quantities. All of the tenders have since been cancelled.
The items the ministry had announced tenders for include an interactive smart board and sound system, 10 motorcycles, televisions, 25 laptops, radar systems and accessories for installation on sea vessels, and life jackets.
The Defence Ministry has not disclosed the reason for cancelling these tenders. The ministry also failed to disclose the purpose of the jet ski procurement.
