Maziya Sports and Recreation has secured the first spot in the final of the FAM League Cup, organized by the Football Association of Maldives (FAM).

While Maziya earned a place in the semi-final by winning the league round, TC secured their semi-final spot as the fourth-placed team in the league round.

In the semi-final match played on Sunday evening at the Galolhu National Stadium, Maziya won 1-0. The team scored their goal in the first half of the match. In the league round of the tournament, Maziya also won the match when these two teams met.

From the start of the match, Maziya played well and created opportunities to score against TC. Maziya's Hamza Mohamed and Hassan Raif Ahmed both had chances to score.

In the 38th minute of the first half, Maziya took the lead with a goal. Defender Hussain Shifau Yoosuf gave Maziya the lead by sending the ball to the top corner of the goal from an opportunity outside TC's area.

TC also worked to score in the match and created some opportunities. TC had a chance to equalize the score. In the second half, TC's Maiz Waheed sent a ball that hit the side post of the goal.

Later in the match, TC also scored a goal. The team's Ashham Ibrahim Mohamed scored, but the goal was disallowed as he was offside.

With the victory over TC, Maziya has secured a place in the tournament final, and Maziya remains undefeated in the tournament so far. In the league round, they won three out of four matches and drew one.
