Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau

Ali Shujau has decided to resign from the position of Commissioner of Police.

According to reliable sources to who spoke to RaajjeMV, Shujau decided to resign from the position on Saturday.

The decision has since been informed to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as well as senior police officials.

RaajjeMV’s attempts to contact Shujau for a comment regarding the matter both through calls and texts were to no avail as Shujau failed to answer the station’s calls and texts. RaajjeMV was unable to get a statement at the time of publishing.
