The cans of beer seized by authorities
A stash of beer cans has been confiscated.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the beer cans were confiscated in Phase I of Hulhumalé.
Officers inspected unattended bags near the wooden jetty in Hulhumalé Phase I after being tipped off regarding a stash of unattended bags in the region, on November 3.
Officers that went to investigate discovered 228 cans of beer upon inspection.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case, yet.
The cans of beer have been taken into police custody.
Further investigations are currently underway.
