Three arrested in kidnapping case

Arrests have been made in connection with a case of kidnapping.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received reports of a Maldivian man held hostage inside a house in the capital Malé City, on July 18.
Three individuals were arrested in connection with the case.
The police institution revealed that arrested were three Maldivian men, aged 30, 27 and 22 respectively.
Upon being presented to the Criminal Court for their remand hearing, the three men were remanded for a 10-day period.
MPS revealed that they have been remanded in a custodial prison facility.
