During the Eid-al-Adha holidays, generally fine weather will prevail across the country.

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) revealed that generally fine weather will prevail across the entire nation over the course of the next five days, apart from a few scattered showers.

The department went on to reveal that winds will gust from southwest to westerly at 8 – 18 miles per hour.

Further, seas are expected to be moderate with a wave height of 3 – 5 feet.

This year, Eid-al-Adha falls on June 16, a Sunday.

Several will be traveling to outlying islands from the capital city these days, to join the festivities of Eid-al-Adha celebrations, expected to be grand.

The government has also announced national-scale festivities in several atolls to celebrate Eid-al-Adha this year.
