The fire broke out inside a house in the capital city
A fire that broke out inside a house in the capital city, has been extinguished.
A media official at the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) revealed that the fire broke out inside Hamaroalhige, in Henveiru-ward of the capital Malé City.
MNDF received reports of the fire at around 04:35pm on Monday.
The fire had been controlled and was completely doused by 05:14pm.
The authorities revealed that no injuries have been reported in connection with the fire so far.
The reason the fire broke out, has not been clarified by MNDF yet.
